Viagrafik a professional design studio located in Wiesbaden, Germany. We offer a broad range of services specializing in print design; everything related with print: logo design, corporate identities, illustration, font design, book & catalog design, but also interior design and web design as well as motion and animation design.
Viagrafik is also an art studio. Every one of us has a background in graffiti or street art and we are always trying to combine our artistic skills with our design skills. We participate in exhibitions where we share our diverse artistic vision and combine them into our projects… and we love to work freely!
How would you characterize your design style?
It’s always a mixture of different techniques. I love to combine analogue and digital styles embedded in a good concept.

Can you give us a short description about your font?
Sassy is a modern take on the headline fonts of the seventies. It’s a stencil font which incorporates round shapes in the normally straight edged stencil fonts. The highlight and outline version are an extension of the basic font but with an emphasis on the original shapes themselves.
Why did you design this font and what was your inspiration?
Well, I like it when girls are sassy and I came up with a logo. I liked the logo so much that I had to design a whole font and after an entire weekend of “nerding” in Freehand and Fontographer, a new star was born.
What is the ideal usage of your font?
The font was mainly designed for headline purposes, but it can be used for anything you: logos, headlines, type on spacecrafts leaving planet Earth in the year 2047 (to give them a retro look) garments, and so on… It’s a font with a wide range of possible applications.
The idea was to create a new font to feed hungry designers with new food to chew on…
Do you think that too many fonts exist?
A big NO! There is still so many fonts to be created!
Your future plans?
We only have our boredom to lose.
…overthrow the system.
